Protection Work
8.1. General Information.
The protection work will be held in the stadium alternately with obedience. All exercises must be performed, seen from the main platform, from the left to the right. The first hit at the patrol after the helper goes to the left side. The locations of the helpers and handlers will be marked in accordance with the PO. The employment of helpers and the test of phase C will be held according to the schedule.
The handlers present in sports dresses (tracksuits). Handlers are not allowed to use special training jackets
8.2. Checking at the field entrance.
Together with their team captain or his/her substitute, all participants must report for an entrance control at least 15 minutes before the stated start time at the dog handler entrance. Here the collar will be checked.
If the handler fails to report at least 15 minutes before his/her start time, he/she will be disqualified.
The identity control will be held after the performance at the dog handler exit.
8.3. Helpers on Protection Work.
A final determination of the Helpers in the protection phase, along with the alternates, will be made by the Chief Judge and the Protection Judge during the protection demonstration on Wednesday.
The order of the helper’s movement can be found on the webpage of the Championship.
The helpers are not allowed to train the dogs of the participants. In the event of violation of this rule, the helper concerned will be replaced. This rule does not, however, apply to the host country.

The helpers will wear a jacket, protection pants, a sleeve and studded shoes. Soft stick of any brand can be used.

The blinds used are usual in the trade protection tents of the yellow color. For the identical conditions of work, the helper’s place in the helper’s barking phase, place for the dog laying down and run-away of the helper are marked next to the blind.
The blinds will be removed for the obedience phase and their location will be marked.
