Tracking

6.1. Tracking fields.
The tracking fields will be a spacious flat terrain. It will be farmland without or only a little Crob. At the time of the event it should be fine to middle rough structured. For all participants similar terrain is offered. Each field will only be used once. The field for the Championship cannot be used for the training. The braking of rules are punished with the disqualification. In the morning the fog must be taken into account.

6.2. Laying the tracks.
The tracks will be laid at a normal pace. The corners will not be marked. The starting point will  be marked. The articles will not be laid in a specific order.

6.3. Articles.
The articles are made of:
·                    Leather
·                    Wood
·                    Carpet
And should be shown on the web-page. All articles are clearly marked with the numbers. Samples can be sent to the teams by the order made on the web-site www.wusv-2011.com.

6.4. Laying the tracks, outlines and lengths.
The tracks will be laid in accordance with applicable rules and have a length of approximately 600 paces Making the track shorter is not allowed. The track layer will be instructed from the tracking supervisor. The tracks will be laid according to different outlines, mainly in the shape of the chair to the right or to the left. If the length of the first leg is  sufficient, the first article will be laid after approx. 100 paces. If the field does not allow this, the first article will be laid on the second leg.

6.5. Transport to the tracking fields.
The tracking fields are situated maximal 10-15 km from the Stadium – hutor Gora, vil. Malaya Alekseevka, Kniazhichi.
Each participant takes his/her own car. The team leaders will receive the plan of the central meeting venue next to the tracking field where the participants can walk the dogs, have rest and eat. The transfers from that place to the tracking routes will be performed.
As the fog is possible in the morning you should be at the place in time.
Shuttle buses to the tracking field will be organized for the spectators.

Signposts to the tracking field are not planned.

6.6. Identity control, Temperament Test and Draw for the track order.


When the handlers report for the track, a draw and a sociability test will be carried out.. If the handler fails to appear for the start and drawing in time, he/she will be disqualified. He drawing is performed when the track is laid. The drawn track is reserved for the handler and is worked out by him as well. If the handler fails to appear before his/her tracking group has started, he/she will be disqualified.
The identity control will be held following the tracking work.

6.7. Checking the tracking leash.
After the draw, the tracking leash will be checked by a representative or the organizer for the correct length and sealed. Subsequently, only this leash is allowed for working the track.

6.8. Medical Service at the Tracking Field.
Medical service is provided at the tracking field.
